Lackawanna County is home to four exceptional private golf country clubs – The Country Club of Scranton, Glen Oak Country Club, Glenmaura National Golf Club and the Elmhurst Country Club.

Elmhurst hosts the annual NEPA Classic of the Nationwide Tour. This event showcases golf’s up and coming stars and the event has been a fixture on the tour for nearly a decade. All have hosted prestigious tournaments and have been recognized for excellence in national golf magazines.

Pro shops can be found at all of our private courses. Several of our public courses have them also. Competitive golfers can aspire to greatness in our many competitive golf leagues.
