The 2008 Chamber Invitational Golf Classic
The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce and Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs proudly present the 3rd Annual Chamber Invitational Golf Classic being held Monday, September 8, 2008 at Glenmaura National Golf Club.
Our day will begin at 11:30 am with registration and luncheon, sponsored by Penn Security Bank & Trust, in the club's Mixed Grill Room. Our Golf Classic will commence at 12:30 pm with a shotgun start, captain and crew format. Golfers will have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages throughout the course on our "Snack Carts", sponsored by Fidelity Deposit & Discount Bank and Pennsylvania American Water Company. Golf participants will also have an opportunity to win a new car, compliments of Motorworld Automotive Group, in our Hole-in-One contest along with additional opportunities on our Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin challenge, sponsored by Solid Cactus. All golfers and guests will then assemble for cocktails and hors d'oeurves, sponsored by First Liberty Bank & Trust. , in the Mixed Grill Room. Upon conclusion of the cocktail hour, all golfers and guests will enjoy dinner and the awards ceremony presented by Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.
