ABOUT THE PROGRAM

TechCelerator @ Lackawanna County assists aspiring entrepreneurs with turning their technology-based, for-profit ideas into successful start-up businesses.

TechCelerator @ Lackawanna County will host its third cohort beginning Fall 2024 and is a collaborative initiative between Lackawanna County, The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce’s IGNITE Program, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of NEPA, and tecBRIDGE. The program is also supported by the Carbondale Technology Transfer Center, The Venture Lab at Lackawanna College, the Penn State Scranton LaunchBox, and the University of Scranton’s Small Business Development Center.

Cohort participants, who reside in Lackawanna County that successfully meet the program completion requirements will be eligible to receive a $10,000 grant* to jump-start their venture.

*Funding is provided by the Lackawanna County Commissioners.
