FNCB Bank Announces Scholarship Winners FNCB Bank, locally based since 1910, is pleased to announce the winners of the FNCB Bank Foundation merit scholarship awards for the 2022-2023 academic year. Overall, the foundation awarded $1,000 scholarships to three area high school seniors based on their academic excellence, community and school involvement, and citizenship. This year’s winners are Tanisi Patel of Crestwood High School, Baylor Lounsbery of Abington Heights High School, and Samantha Quinn of Wyoming Seminary. NET Credit Union Promotes Multiple Employees Marc Michalowski has been promoted to CIO, Chief Information Officer. Marc’s diverse experience in both IT and the credit union industry continues to help NET Credit Union grow and develop. Cheryl DeHaut has been promoted to Vice President of Risk Management. Cheryl is responsible for managing the Compliance and Human Resources Departments, which both ensure that NET’s policies and procedures comply with regulatory and ethical standards. Mary Rapach has been promoted to Member Service Center Manager. Mary has multiple years of call center experience, which has helped evolve NET Credit Union’s Member Service Department to serve our members better. Andrea Krivak has been promoted to Accounting Manager. Andrea has both public accounting and credit union accounting experience. She is currently pursuing her MBA. Steve Cowgill has been promoted to IT Manager. Steve has various years of IT experience, which has assisted both the IT Department and credit union expand our products and services. Lauren Pabst has been promoted to Marketing Manager. Lauren has over five years experience within both the company and department. HNB Celebrates 185 Years of Supporting Local Communities On December 26 The Honesdale National Bank officially celebrated 185 years in business. The Bank recognizes the milestone as an example of its achievements, but considers it more a testament to its ability to support the financial needs of the local area for years to come. Earlier in December, Thomas E. Sheridan, Jr. rejoined HNB to reprise his role as president and CEO of the oldest financial institution headquartered in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Back at the helm, his sights are set on establishing the course for the Bank’s promising future by harnessing tradition. The historical financial institution based in Honesdale, Pa has done anything but remain stagnant since its inception, often bringing the first of improved customer experience offerings to the area such as the first TV Auto Bank Drive-Up system in 1968, to its most recent deployment of a checking product suite that focuses on benefits that enable their customers to take advantage of all aspects of their life, including protection, wellness and promotion of shopping in our local communities through exclusive deals and discounts. “The benefits that community banks bring to the areas we serve is a point of pride,” said Sheridan. “The directors, management team, and staff at HNB have done an outstanding job in moving the bank forward.
