Amanda Byron is the executive assistant to Chamber President Bob Durkin. In this role, she serves as a liaison to The Chamber and its various affiliate boards and committees. She is responsible for board management, communications, and reporting requirements. Byron originally joined The Chamber as the board and office administrator, where she acted as the primary point of contact between The Chamber and affiliate organizations, Skills in Scranton and Leadership Lackawanna. Now as executive assistant, she leverages her strong communication skills to support Durkin in advancing The Chamber’s mission, goals, and strategic plan. Byron graduated from Lackawanna College with an associate degree in paralegal studies and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business at Lackawanna College.
