Mari Potis is the director of membership and events for The Chamber. With The Chamber since 1998, Potis develops programs and events to enhance both Chamber members and the Greater Scranton regional business community. She is also responsible for membership recruitment, retention, event sponsorships and advertising sales. In addition to her responsibilities at The Chamber, Potis served as the liaison for the NBC/Universal television show “The Office,” providing authentic area information and business products to appear on the Emmy award-winning show. She was named one of NAWBO ‘s Top 25 Women in Business, and is the recipient of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Bronze and Silver Lifetime Achievement Awards. She is also the only individual to receive an official “Dundie Award” from NBC/Universal Executives for her role in assisting with production of “The Office”. Active within the Abington-area community, Potis is an Abington Junior Comets Cheer Coach, and a volunteer for Abington Little League, the Abington Area Girls Softball League and the Girl Scouts in the Heart of PA. She is also a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and the Waverly Elementary and Abington Heights Middle School PTAs. Email Mari Potis
