Maria Day is the IGNITE Program Manager for The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she drives transformative growth in start-up businesses and fosters job creation in Lackawanna County. Day manages the IGNITE program from two locations: The Scranton Enterprise Center and TeKRidge Center. She provides innovative education, strategic counseling, networking, and mentorship support to emerging entrepreneurs. Prior to working for the Chamber, Day held several positions at Marywood University, most recently as the Senior Undergraduate Admissions Counselor. Day received a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and wellness studies and a master’s degree in public administration from Marywood University.
