Nicole Morristell is currently the executive director of Leadership Lackawanna, The non-profit Chamber affiliate dedicated to community leadership and professional development. Leadership Lackawanna consists of a 10-month core program, a five-week executive program, a seven-month youth program, the Welcome Scranton! program, and several fundraisers, events and workshops. She is a current board member and Pennsylvania statewide ambassador for Association of Leadership Programs (ALP), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the effectiveness of leadership programs and professionals. Before joining The Chamber staff, Morristell worked for the local Girl Scout organization, where she served in a number of positions over the years, including marketing and community outreach specialist, public relations director and special events manager. She is a 1998 graduate of Tunkhannock Area High School and a 2002 graduate of Elizabethtown College and is actively involved with The Nature Conservancy, Countryside Conservancy, and the Haiti Partnership. In 2012, she was named Top 20 Under 40 by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Business Journal and in 2014 she was named as a Top 25 Woman in Business by the Northeastern Pennsylvania Business Journal.
