Allied Services Partners with Local Church to Support Injured Ukrainian Soldiers Allied Services partnered with Father Myron Myronyuk, Pastor of St.Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church in Scranton, to donate rehab equipment and medical supplies to benefit injured Ukrainian soldiers. The donated equipment will be part of a shipment of supplies heading to Ukraine thanks to the efforts of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Church and its friends. On Thursday, January 25, 2024, a shipping container arrived from New Jersey at the warehouse at Allied Services in Taylor for loading. Allied Services, a nationally-ranked non-profit rehabilitation provider, donated a significant volume of lightly used rehabilitation equipment including stationary bikes, treadmills, and parallel bars. The donation, estimated to be in the tens of thousands of dollars, also included hospital beds, gowns, walkers, wheelchairs, and other supplies. The donation will assist rehabilitation centers working with Ukrainian soldiers injured since the war started in 2022.

Northeast Rehab Supports Team Allied Services for 14th Year Northeast Rehab recently presented Allied Services Integrated Health System with a check for $15,000, their contribution to the Team Allied Services and You campaign. Allied Services Receives Donation from Scranton Region Antique Automobile Club Representatives from the Scranton Region Antique Automobile Club of America (SRAACA) recently presented Allied Services Integrated Health System with a $1,500 donation to benefit pediatric patients with disabilities served by the health system. The funds were raised at The Club’s 52nd Annual Car Show and Flea Market held July 16th on the grounds of Allied Services’ Corporate Center in Clarks Summit. This year’s show featured more than 150 antique automobiles.
Allied Services Receives Grant from Tee Time for Kiel Recently, Kiel Eigen and Brian Palma, one of the founding members of Tee Time for Kiel and member of the tournament’s planning committee, presented Allied Services Integrated Health System with a donation of $3,000. This portion of the proceeds from the annual golf tournament that was held at Fox Hill Country Club on September 15 will now benefit spinal cord injury patients at Allied Services.
Allied Services Receives Record-Breaking Support from Mueller Family McDonalds The Mueller family, representing 19 regional McDonald’s restaurants, recently presented a check in support of Team Allied Services and You. The annual charity campaign raising funds and awareness for children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services. The donation represents proceeds from a month-long “Fry” fundraiser conducted during the month of September at Mueller Family McDonald’s restaurants in Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming Counties. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of every large fry was designated for Allied Services. This year, a new record was set for the annual fry fundraiser. In total, the initiative raised $37,482. In 2022, just over $30,000 was raised.“We are thrilled to be able to support Allied and their mission of helping people in our community overcome physical challenges; specifically, children with disabilities or chronic illness. Allied Services Receives Patient Satisfaction Award for Second Consecutive Year Allied Services has been recognized as a Superior Performer for achieving an overall family satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20% of all eligible SHP clients. The annual SHPBest™ award program was created to acknowledge home health agencies that consistently provide high-quality service to their patients and hospice providers that consistently provide high-quality service to families and caregivers of patients receiving hospice care. The 2022 award recipients were determined by reviewing and ranking the overall HHCAHPS survey satisfaction score for more than 2,500 home health providers and the overall CAHPS Hospice survey satisfaction score for more than 1,000 hospice providers. FNCB Bank Donates to Vocational Training Programs at Allied Services FNCB Bank announced its support for Allied Services with a $5,000 donation to the Vocational Services Division. FNCB served as a co-presenting sponsor of the Allied Services 2023 Vocational Services Golf Classic. The charity tournament was held Monday, July 24, 2023, at Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic, Pa. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the annual tournament benefits individuals with disabilities participating in training and employment programs provided by the non-profit health system. Allied Services Vocational Services Division serves over 500 individuals with disabilities each year. Individuals with disabilities enrolled in the program receive specialized training, development of work-related skills, and supervision and guidance in the workplace as needed. The goal of the program is to support and empower individuals with disabilities as members of the workforce.
